Evaluation Resources is owned and operated by George W. Dougherty, Jr., Ph.D. Dr. Dougherty is an Assistant Professor of Public and Urban Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. He previously held positions at Georgia Tech, Piedmont College, and helped found and manage the Carl Vinson Institute of Government’s Applied Research Support Unit at the University of Georgia.

Our mission will be obtained by providing quality services to private firms, state and local governments, and nonprofit organizations and elevating the general level of expertise concerning policy decision making .
Company Background
Evaluation Resources was founded in May 2000 with contracts from the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, and Sage Consulting.
